Ugliest Vegetable
Parsnip in the picture won the ugliest vegetable contest in England as it resembles a creature from the abyss. All entries had to be grown from seed this year. Hillary Nellist from Bradford, the grower of the parsnip won an organic vegetable box for a year and advice from a National Trust gardener.
