Remember Hello Kitty Receptionist i posted before? It can detect if someone is standing there as well as greet and hold simple conversations with visitors. Now, this is another Robot is called Emiew will take over Hotel Clerk job.
Hitachi is planning a publicity stunt at the Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel from March 6 through 12 to promote its robot technology. The Hitachi robot EMIEW will demonstrator its abilities in speech synthesis, voice recognition and autonomous moving by working as a Hotel Clerk.
