After Manual Power Phone Charger, Micro Windmill Mobile Charger is another charger which doesn’t need to use electric to charge the batteries.
N.Satyanarayana, a science graduate student in India has developed Micro Windmill Mobile Charger. It uses wind to charge the batteries.
Basically, there is a small fan with blades of 10cms diameter connected to a generator with an output wire which connects to your mobile phone. It is weather proof so you can use it any weather conditions. It is lightweight gadget that can be carried easily. Mobile phone, walkman, palmtop, laptop, mp3 player and others can be charged using Micro Windmill Charger.
The Micro Windmill Mobile Charger is currently in development stage and not available for sale.
