Stanford Robot Car is coming soon
After winning desert race in 2005, Stanford University robotics experts have begun work on a car that will drive itself from San Francisco City Hall to downtown Los Angeles in October 2007 without human control. Although the plan is to allow robot car to drive the whole way, but a human driver will be in the car in case the robot freaks out.
If we have a robot car which could drive and stop itself during driving, we could do other things without controlling the car. How wonderful it could be?
